FIRST AID FOR MOSQUITO BITE


    When mosquito bites, it injects saliva into your skin. 

    that trigger immune system and  the body reacts to the mosquito's saliva.

    which causes inflammation, redness, and itching in the area of the bite.

    That results in the  following characteristics in human body 

1. Unbearably itching and scratching in kids . 

2. Bump and swelling  arround  the bite

3. Dark spots that look like bruises.

 

FIRST AID FOR MOSQUITO BITE

1.   Avoid scratching

2.  Wash the affected area with soap and water.

3.  Apply  Calamine/Caladryl lotion can be  applied 

     or any moisturizer cream or lotion can be applied at affected areas.

4.  Apply a cold compress  or an ice pack

      to any swelling for at least 10 minutes.

5.  If there is swelling , Raise or elevate the affected area if possible,

      this can help reduce swelling.

6.  For painful bites can use of oral analgesics such as 

     ibuprofen and acetaminophen. 

                                                                                                           

 When to see a doctor- 

If mosquito bites seem to be associated with more-serious warning signs — 

such as fever, headache, body aches and signs of infection

contact your doctor.
